We’re excited to be able to share with you the opportunity to become an owner of the Belardo filly Another Festival, trained by Craig Lidster.

She has been in training with Craig since January, and has been coming along very nicely. Like many Belardo’s, she’s taking plenty of time to fill in to her frame and develop. Belardo was a Group 1 Dewhurst winner as a juvenile, but he improved with age and took the Group 1 Lockinge as a four year old.

We think he is a seriously underrated stallion, whose progeny are tough, honest, and consistent horses. He’s sired Group winners across the globe, and is also the sire of the improving Tuco Salamanca, who’s gone up 50lbs in the ranks for Ollie Sangster amassing £120,203 in prize money.

Another Festival’s is a half sister to debut winner Chorizo, who was rated 89 as a two year old. Her dam, Choral Festival, was an incredibly hardy mare who raced 114 times in her career, with 13 wins, 15 seconds and 20 thirds.

She is from a smart Cheveley Park Stud family, dating back to the 2004 Group 1 Pretty Polly winner Chorist. The family is littered with stakes winners, and we feel she is bred to be incredibly talented. When crossed with Pivotal mares, progeny of Belardo have an 80% strike rated including the excellent Thirsk Hunt Cup winner Titan Rock.

Another Festival has been working exceptionally well at home, and we believe she can take her owners to some big days out down the line. She’s due to race in the next 3/4 weeks on the grass, and we are also looking at an all-weather campaign with her.
